One of the best examples of great marketing ideas i have seen this week is the Dropping of Grilled cheese sandwiches into NY City by remote helicopters.

This has been developed by an Australian Brand ‘Jafflechutes’ looking to create brand awareness by doing something unique and news worthy in a related sector.

The clever angle to this is that recently Google Amazon were all over the news about how they could be delivering products by Drones, well i guess the Australian brand beat them to it and because it’s related to the same subject it becomes incredibly news worthy, its picked up by main stream media, and its delivered in a fun way that offers value to the audience.
