There were whoops and cheers all round the Xcite Digital office yesterday when Great Britain’s Equestrian Event Team earned a historic silver medal at London’s Greenwich Park. Zara Phillips, world number one William Fox-Pitt, Nicola Wilson, Tina Cook and Mary King pipped New Zealand to second place with Germany taking gold. Not only do we have a past Team GB water polo member in our office but we were keeping a close eye on the equestrian activities as we also have an experienced dressage competitor in our mix as well. Nick, one of our creative developers, has been riding for over fifteen, taking part in (and winning!) a number of competitions over the years. Talking of riding we’d like to introduce to you Christys’ & Co; one of   our clients. They have been manufacturing fine hats in England since 1773. Today Christys’ offers a collection of men’s and women’s hats ranging from traditional to fashion styles with a contemporary edge. What has this got to do with the above? Well one of their specialist ranges is their Equestrian and Dressage hats. When Christy’s first approached us to undertake website development campaign including a new, effective website design and associated website content strategy, we were only too happy to help. We worked very well together throughout the initial project which start to finish took 4 months.
